There is not a lot of boogie players recorded today that I get to hear. Ms. DeWitt included many of her own compositions in this offering proving that she has the musician chops, her mastery of the old standards like “3 0′Clock Jump,” “Texas Stomp,” “Mess Around,” and “Don’t Want No Woman” shows her appreciation of the history of this music.
